A fun, friendly session introducing you to upholstery skills and using your hands to create a useful object, made well. You will spend 2.5 hours designing and making, and will leave with your very own upholstered pinboard.

To finish we will fabric back the board and add a hook, ready for you to hang at home, step back and say "I made that".

I am a designer maker living and working in East Sussex, producing modern upholstered furniture - Useful objects, made well. My practice is informed by the idea that “If you can’t fix it, you don’t own it”. Alongside regular upholstery jobs (recovers, repairs, reupholstery), I run Rounded by. making & selling upholstered footstools, stools, benches & pinboards; using 100% natural, sustainable & revalued materials. These pieces are made for life, not landfill.
